Terms and Conditions
These terms are a contract between you and us when you use Jobpedia. We have kept them short and in plain words. If something is unclear, ask us before you rely on it.

1. Who we are
Jobpedia.AI is operated by GYPAETUSCODE SRL (CUI RO40407772, Reg. Com. J2019000097013), Sat Șard nr. 332 W, comuna Ighiu, județul Alba, 517363, Romania. Contact: [email protected].
2. The service
Jobpedia helps job seekers judge how well they fit a posting and tailor their resume to it. It includes the website at jobpedia.ai, the app at app.jobpedia.ai, the free fit check at app.jobpedia.ai/fit and the browser extension. We may change or withdraw features as the product develops; if a change removes something you paid for, section 6 applies.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 16 and able to enter a contract.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us it was compromised.
- Give us accurate information and keep it current.
- You may close your account at any time by writing to us. Section 7 of the Privacy Policy says what happens to your data.
4. Your content
Your resume, work history, notes and the job postings you add remain yours. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload, and that job postings are used for your own job search.
5. AI output
Fit verdicts, compatibility scores and tailored resumes are produced with the help of language models. They are our best reading of the evidence, not a guarantee. A verdict can be wrong; a tailored resume can contain a mistake. Read AI output before you rely on it, and never submit a resume that says something untrue about you. We show our evidence so you can check it, and we do not make automated decisions with legal effect about you.
We are not an employer, recruiter or employment agency. Applying for a job, and what an employer decides, is between you and them.
6. Paid plans and credits
- Prices, plans and what they include are shown in the app before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see your card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time in the app; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
- If you are a consumer in the EU you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a purchase. Because the service starts at once, by starting to use paid features you ask us to begin during that period and the refund is reduced by the value already used.
- If we withdraw a paid feature or stop the service, we refund the unused part of the current period.
- Credits are not money, are not transferable and have no cash value.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload someone else’s resume or data without their permission;
- use the service to generate false claims about yourself or others;
- scrape, bulk-download or resell the service or its output;
- probe, overload or interfere with the service or bypass its limits;
- use it for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, after telling you why unless the law prevents it.
8. Our rights
The software, design, name and logo of Jobpedia belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not give you any right to them beyond using the service. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.
9. Liability
We provide the service with care, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that a verdict or resume will lead to a job. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses (such as a missed opportunity), and our total liability to you in any twelve months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent, gross negligence or death or personal injury, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Governing law and disputes
Romanian law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live. Disputes go to the courts of Romania, or your local courts where consumer law gives you that right. EU consumers can also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For changes that affect you materially we give at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the app. If you do not agree, stop using the service and cancel before the change takes effect. The date and version at the top tell you which text applies.
