Example session

One job, from search to export

An illustrative conversation, not a real one. Every tool named is one the server has, and every step waits for the person.

ExampleA session in a chat app with Jobpedia connected
  1. You

Find remote senior data analyst roles.

  2. Agent

    • Tool: search_jobs

Three of the newest: Senior Data Analyst at Fieldline, Analytics Lead at Ostra, Senior Analyst at Pellow. Shall I check your fit for one?

  3. You

    Check Fieldline.

  4. Agent

    • Tool: check_fit

Worth applying, with gaps. The posting asks for leading analytics projects; your record says you supported two migrations. Have you led one? I will not answer that for you.

  5. You

Yes. I led the churn dashboard rebuild in 2024.

  6. Agent

    • Tool: answer_gap

Saved. The verdict now reads Worth applying. A tailored draft for this job uses your free tailored job. Go ahead?

  7. You

    Go ahead.

  8. Agent

    • Tool: create_draft

The draft has one line per requirement, each reworded from a fact you confirmed. Line 2: "Led the churn dashboard rebuild, 2024." Accept, edit or revert each one?

  9. You

Accept them all, then export it.

  10. Agent

    • Tool: accept_checked_lines
    • Tool: export_resume

Saved as version 1. The PDF is on the export page in the app. Tell me once you have sent it and I will mark it in your applications.

What it can do

Five steps, from setup to export

The 19 tools your agent calls on your Jobpedia account, by step. The names are the ones your AI app shows when it asks to use one.

  1. Set up

Bring your resume in and decide what it says.

    whoami
Says which Jobpedia account is connected.
    get_setup_status
Says which setup step comes next.
    import_resume_text
Reads your pasted resume text into your career record.
    list_waiting_facts
Lists the facts read from it that wait for you.
    confirm_facts
    Confirms the facts you approve.
    discard_facts
    Discards the ones you reject.
  2. Find

Pick a job from the catalogue.

    search_jobs
Searches jobs by keywords, location and remote, hybrid or on-site, 20 at a time.
  3. Check fit

Your confirmed record against one job, with the reasons.

    check_fit
Gives the verdict, the reasons and the gaps. Up to 30 checks a day.
    get_verdict
Reads the verdict you already have, without a new check.
    answer_gap
Adds your answer to a gap question.
    decline_gap
Records your no to a gap question.
    accept_gap_framing
Accepts, or edits, the wording a gap offers.
    answer_work_constraint
Saves your answer on work authorization or location.
  4. Tailor

A resume for the job, built only from facts you confirmed.

    create_draft
Builds the draft: one line per requirement it addresses, each from a confirmed fact.
    get_draft
Reads the draft as it stands.
    update_draft_line
Accepts, edits or reverts one line. An edit that adds something your record does not have is refused.
    accept_checked_lines
    Accepts every line still waiting.
  5. Export

A numbered version, and a note of where it went.

    export_resume
Saves the draft as the next version and links its PDF in the app.
    mark_export_sent
Marks the version as sent in your applications, after you say you sent it.
